Operate and tend equipment to blend fruit and vegetable juice based on established blend recipes. Overseeing the pasteurization process and the management of blending tanks and equipment. This position requires both organizational skills & prolonged physical effort. Must be comfortable with lifting heavy materials.

Must have previous experience working in a food and/or beverage manufacturing or production environment.

RESPONSIBILITES INCLUDE but are not limited to:

• Adhere to all safety and OSHA plant regulations.
• Always Maintain the Blending area in a Safe Quality Food (SQF) sanitary manner.
• Knowledge of HACCP plan and CCP’s
• Responsible for pasteurizing products according to CCP time and temperature requirements
Acidification of batches when applicable to meet CCP requirement of
• 4.6pH
• Perform CIPs.
• Communicate quality and maintenance issues to management.
• Possess strong technical skills and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to make decisions independently.
• Demonstrate excellent job performance and attendance on a consistent and continuous basis.
• Must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
• Ability to work extended shifts and flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and Holidays.
• Ability to perform physical work including standing and/or walking for periods in excess of 8 hours; ability to climb, bend, reach, pull, kneel, stoop, twist, or lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a production environment which includes working in wet areas; areas with extreme temperatures (<30- to >90F); exposure to moving equipment and forklift traffic; working with and around processing and/or sanitation chemicals.
